Our Mission

Flow State Au. are on a mission to teach women how to be at their best throughout their cycle,

and how to stay in the zone.

We want to empower everyone with a menstrual cycle with the knowledge of how to use that cycle to their advantage to maximise their performance.

Our aim is to provide this education at a teenage level, so that it can be implemented as early as possible.

Our Workshops

We run workshops in High Schools, in work places, for sporting teams and clubs, for coaches, for parents assisting their child though puberty, or for absolutely anyone who is interested in learning more about utilising the phases of the menstrual cycle to improve their performance.

Workshops are tailored to your groups sport and age.

For more information or to book your workshop email flowstateau@gmail.com

Workshops will cover;

  • The female hormonal cycle - you will learn what is happening during your cycle in really simple terms, including why it is so important for our performance and our health.
  • Misconceptions will be addressed, for example, having no period or having an irregular period is a good thing as an athlete.
  • How to perform your best through every part of your cycle.
  • How to improve your mindset, due to hormonal changes and its effect on our self confidence.
  • Physical changes that occur during puberty and subsequent increased risk of injuries. Learn how to reduce this injury risk.
  • Learn what the pill and other contraceptive methods do and why they are prescribed for irregular or symptomatic periods.
  • How to optimise your performance throughout your cycle.
